Conservative
Leadership

As a federal prosecutor for most of my professional career, I’ve worked to bring justice to victims and keep our communities safe. I’ve also been a businessman and, most importantly, a husband and dad who has raised his children right here in our district. I believe government should make life better for hardworking people, not harder, and if elected to represent District 48 in the Alabama House, I’ll work every day to make that a reality.

Our district has a lot to be proud of, but we can always do better. I’m running to keep our neighborhoods safe, strengthen our schools, and support the local businesses that drive our economy. Government should work for the people who wake up every morning, go to work, raise their families, and try to do the right thing. It shouldn’t get in the way with red tape, wasteful spending, or policies that put politics ahead of common sense.

If I’m elected, I’ll hold myself to one simple standard: does this make life better, safer, or more affordable for the people I serve?

Less Government. Less Spending. More for Families and Businesses.

Prosperity comes from families and small businesses, not government. Bigger government does not just cost more. It brings more rules, more paperwork, and more obstacles to growth. Those burdens fall hardest on small businesses trying to hire, grow, and make payroll, plus families trying to stretch every paycheck. Smaller government allows for stronger families and businesses.

Economic Prosperity and Jobs

A strong economy is the difference between a family getting ahead or falling behind, a small business hiring or holding back, and a young graduate building a future in Alabama or leaving to find it somewhere else. I have spent time in public service, and I have also been a businessman. I know what it takes to meet payroll, manage costs, and deliver for customers. I understand that when government works, businesses can grow, and when it does not, working people and small employers pay the price. As your representative, I will support policies that reward hard work, expand opportunity, and keep investment and the good paying jobs that come with it here in Alabama’s communities. I will also work to ensure that government projects completed on time and on budget, so progress is not slowed by avoidable delays and excessive costs.

Safer Communities

Public safety is the foundation of a strong community. As a federal prosecutor for nearly two decades, I worked shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement and stood up for victims like the family of Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney’s kidnappers. I have seen firsthand what violent crime does to families, neighborhoods, and small businesses. There can be no tolerance for crimes that target those who need help protecting themselves, including our children, seniors, and those least able to defend themselves. Criminals who prey on the innocent through child exploitation, elder abuse, domestic violence, trafficking, or targeted scams must face swift and certain consequences. Reducing crime is not about empty promises. It is about results. It means sending a clear message: if you break the law, you will be pursued, you will be caught, and you will be held accountable. It also means supporting the good men and women of law enforcement who work to keep our communities safe. They deserve leaders in Montgomery who support them with adequate staffing, modern training, up to date tools and technology, and laws that guarantee real consequences for violent and repeat offenders.

Stronger Schools

A strong education system should prepare students for every path, from technical credentials and trades to advanced degrees, and it should stay aligned with real workforce demand. Good paying jobs go where a skilled workforce is ready and available. Alabama should give students and workers multiple pathways to success, including college, career training, apprenticeships, and the skilled trades, so employers can hire locally and families have more options. When training is connected to the jobs employers are actually offering, certificates and degrees turn into paychecks. Education funding should make the biggest impact where it matters most: the classroom. Students and teachers deserve the resources and support to reach their full potential. As your representative, I will focus on practical, common sense improvements that strengthen classrooms, respect parents, and prepare students for real world success with a first-class education for every child. We need policies that raise student achievement but, at the same time, respect a parent’s right to be informed and involved in their child’s education.

As your representative, I will bring fresh energy, conservative principles, and a strong commitment to ensuring our district receives the support and resources it deserves.
